Exterior Painting Workshop

October 22nd, 2016 10am - 5pm  $45 Member, $55 Non-Member


Join Terry Philips of TK Enterprises as he teaches what 40 years of painting experience have taught him. The class will teach how to safely and affordably achieve a 15-20 year paint job on your home. The hands-on workshop will teach how to safely remove lead paint using appropriate heat controlled instruments, prepare wood surfaces, fix damaged wood lap, understand the effects of moisture in wood, prime, and paint exterior wood surfaces.


Participants must wear closed toe shoes and bring a lead safe respirator with lead (pink/purple) filters. Lunch is on your own. Downtown is two blocks away.
